SEEK A WAY OUT - CONFINEMENT ROOM (GREEN TEAM)
![]() Despite being called the "Confinement Room", you will quickly notice that it's a hallway with four rooms, instead of just one room. In fact, this seems more like jail than anything else. Someone must have put the wrong plate beside the door, but the moment you step away from the door, it closes up behind you. You find that there isn't even a handle on this door, so there's no way you're going out that way. Time to start looking around this dimly lit "Confinement Room". |

[ But he'll be examining these strange bedsheets. ]
Hey, kid, after you're done sticking your hand in that toilet and washing it, pass over the knife.
[ Just what is Jake going to do with a knife... That sounds dangerous. ]

[He regards the lighter for a moment, realizing he wasn't very familiar with them when it takes him a few tries to figure how to try and light it. Nothing, he wasn't surprised, it had been in a lot of gross and not so gross water.] This one had a lighter, but it doesn't seem to work.
[At Jake's request he walks over to pick up the knife, regarding Jake curiously as he held it out for Jake to grab. It was pretty clean Jake, you're welcome.] Here you go- do you have an idea of what we need it for?

...It wouldn't hurt to check out what was on this computer first, she decides, and connects the USB cable, wiggling the mouse to wake the PC]
Jake, are you going to fix the sheets?
no subject
Yeah, looks like someone cut them out and sewed them to the wrong sheets. They're filthy, so we should probably try washing them first.
[ He'll just get to cutting out the bedsheets in each of the cells. ]
no subject
Helllllll-ooooooo! I hope you didn't miss me!
[ Coming on screen is your favourite little mouse...! ]

[He glances over at one of the beds- oh, he hadn't really noticed the sheets.] I see- I wonder what on earth this lighter is for then. [And with that oh so useful comment he heads over to the bottom left cell, time to do his fun job...]

Like this place wasn't annoying enough...
[ Just ignoring the monitor and cutting out the rest of his bedsheets. He'll meet back in the centre of the room with Ema once he's done. ]

How rude! Are you guys going to say hello to me too? At least one of you test subjects are decently nice.
... Even if he's putting his hand down a toilet.
[ Snicker snicker. He will have pleasure in watching Hershel do that, since the poor kid will pull out another item in soggy toilet paper. This time, it's an empty wallet. ]
[ As for Ema, the key turns in the lock, and a small 'click' can be heard. The locker can now be opened, but there's nothing much in it, asides from a small jar with white power. If opened and smelt, it appears to be laundry detergent. ]

You could have given us a plunger or... I don't know, anything. A stick. Soap... [He kind of murmurs the last bit to himself, finishing cleaning off his wonderful prize before speaking up again.] This time it's a wallet.
[He opens it.] ... nothing in it, though. I don't really see why we even need some of these things. [He glances at Calhoun.] ... Calhoun, we do need these, don't we? [Did you just want him to stick his hand in a toilet multiple times cosplay mouse?]

C'mon, Jake, wash those fabric pieces in here so we can get done with this.
no subject
Here goes nothing.
[ Let's see if all four sheets wash or not...! ]
no subject
I don't know! Maybe they're important, maybe they're not. Maybe you've just stuck your hand in the toilet for no reason, who knows!
[ He won't give an answer or hint, not when it seems like his test subjects are doing a good job so far. He sees Jake washing the oil-like substance off the sheets. With that, Jake (and Ema) can see what those four sheets clearly say: ]
Fabric A:
Started a fire mainly for fun,
Only to realize what he had done.
A man was killed and a woman too,
He was locked up with the other few.
Fabric B
The artist who can draw in a flash,
Realized that she was low on cash.
Spent the night making bills,
Thrown in jail for poor decision skills.
Fabric C
The boy started with a fish,
Took his knife and made it swish.
Watched it bleed and quickly die,
Then moved to humans to see them cry.
Fabric D
Walking down an empty street,
Suddenly faced with the concrete.
Yelled and beaten for a theft,
No wallet or money, he was left.
no subject
At least this was the last one, thank goodness. The pocket knife was useful so it wasn't all in vain, probably.]

[ But let him place out these fabrics in the right parts of the bed. Let's see... Bedsheet A goes on Bed 2, Bedsheet B goes on Bed 4, Bedsheet C on Bed 1, and Bedsheet D on Bed 3... ]
no subject
[ As for the clean bedsheets, all of them perfectly align with the stationary sheets. ]
no subject
[He glances over at Ema and Jake as he cleans himself, what a day.] There was money in that one? I don't really recognize it though, and I doubt it's real. A wallet, a pocket knife, money and a lighter- all things you'd find in someone's pocket. [He shrugs, as if he's unsure if that means anything at all. Who knew.]

They go along with the poems on the sheets. The arsonist on fabric A is the lighter, and so on. But there's no way to narrow it down. We're missing something...
[and then she remembers, the other journal she'd neglected upon Calhoun's appearance. she heads over to flip through it in the hopes it held another clue]

throws all the who in here, but I'm sure one of them is innocent. I spend my whole day here, I talk with each that comes by. I'm sure that one of them is innocent. I'd bet my life on it.
I set the 's password to their name. I modified the , though, so if anyone enters the wrong name or password, then it'll freeze and set off the alarm. No one will be taking our .

Find anything?

[When he is done he inspects his hand before unrolling his sleeve with a soft sigh, happy that part is over with. He heads over to the sheets to finally check them out, reading the poems with a furrowed brow. Well, that sort of explained the toilet stuff. He then heads over to Ema to take a peek at what she's looking at.]

According to this, one of the guys locked up in here was innocent. Their name is the password to the safe. ...You think it was 'Alex,' the fabric D person? From the rhyme, it kinda seems like they were more a victim than a perp.
