SEEK A WAY OUT - INCINERATOR (TEST DRIVE)

T H E  I N C I N E R A T O R

The first thing you notice once you step through the door is the smell of ashes and fire. It's actually somewhat difficult to breathe, with all the dust in the air, not to mention that smell. It's something similar to rotting food and waste, and looking in the room, it's clear what's the cause of it: piles and piles of garbage. It seems that all the trash was brought to this room to be burned. So, in short, the incinerator room.

Once you step away from the entrance, it closes behind you and you find that there isn't even a handle on the door. Looks like you better start figuring a way out.

[Rio enters the room with obvious reluctance, her hands curled up by her chest.]

N-not again...

[Still, after a moment of looking over the place, she does begin to make her way down the stairs - slowly.]

This place looks big... where should we even start?
not_sasuke: (Wow your drawings suck.)

...Maybe we should start by finding a can of air freshener.

[ It's a joke, but right now he might as well try to lighten the air ha... Not really beneficial to be a dick right now if he needs to survive. ]

An-- air freshener? Do you think they would have one of those here?

[Derp.]

Probably not, but that table over there sounds like a good start, isn't it?

[ He's going to just to point to the first thing that caught his attention. Might as well start poking around for clues. ]

Hauu... You're right, it probably would be too much to hope for, wouldn't it?

[She looks legitimately disappointed about this. Still, with a slight nod, she continues down the stairs and peers at the table from a distance, her body language careful and timid.]

U-um... it looks like there's a manual on it.

[This would probably be more helpful if she'd actually approach the table, but instead she's just staring at it warily like it might explode.]
not_sasuke: (So who do you like?)

[personal profile] not_sasuke 2015-05-25 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
[ Tch, looks like this girl's going to be a load. While he doesn't outwardly grumble or show a sign of annoyance whatsoever, the feeling's definitely there as he decided to pick the manual up and start leafing through it. ]

Well, let's take a look, shall we? Who knows, it might give us a clue for a way out of this room.

[She waits nervously while he looks at the manual, but before long she's peeking around at the rest of the place, taking small, uncertain steps towards the eastern side of the room. What is this, some sort of notice...?]

[ The paper, is just as dirty as everything else in the room. It can still be read, however, and it says: ]

Did you know?

At 75ºC/107ºF degrees, the cells in the human body start to die, and the organs begin to shut down. The proteins in your cells start to harden, and there is no way to reverse this process.

This is why thermometers only go up to 75ºC/107ºF degrees, as a roasted human has no need to check the temperature past that.

Neat, huh?
